Although we customize just about everything to your business needs and goals, the workflow for a typical consulting project is summarized below:

• Initial discovery meeting to determine objectives and current business challenges. This is also an opportunity to assess Client and Consultant compatibility.
• If confidential information is required before or during creating a proposal, clients are asked to sign a mutual NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
• We’ll develop a proposal that includes a SOW (scope of work), pricing, timelines (as applicable), and any options or recommendations.
• Once the scope is agreed upon, clients are entered into our management system for effective collaboration. We also create a viable communications plan and reporting milestones with client input.
• Our team works to solve the challenges identified during the discovery stage and help your business meet its full potential.
• Before closing out a contract, we ensure the developed knowledge, skills, and materials are fully disseminated to clients for sustainable outcomes.

Following project close-out, our team will be available for follow-up support via phone or email for up to 90 days. This helps to ensure that solutions continue to be implemented and clients continue to experience the benefits.

What types of contracts are available?

• Fixed Cost Contracts - Clients agree to pay a fixed price for specific deliverables.
• Time & Materials Contracts - Time is tracked for work performed and billed at a pre-negotiated rate. Consultants also track project-related expenses and pass them to the client for reimbursement.
• Hourly Contracts - Clients are charged based on the hourly rate set by the Consultant. Expenses are NOT passed to the client for reimbursement.
• Retainer-based Contracts - Terms are pretty variable, but typically the client pays a fixed amount for provision of services during a set period.
• Recurring Contracts - Clients pay an ongoing monthly fee for recurring deliverables. Those deliverables could include monthly reporting and statistics or smaller deliverables that accrue overtime.
• Managed Services Contracts - The Consultant makes specific guarantees around their availability, response time, and capacity to complete deliverables. The client pays a fixed rate in return for these guarantees.

Depending on the scope of the project, we typically develop fixed cost contracts. This allows clients to adhere to a defined budget without incurring unexpected fees.
