In June 2020, the Special Education Service Agency (SESA) contacted EBO Consulting with two key objectives: (1) Train their newly hired Executive Assistant; and (2) Develop a Return to Work plan, in response to the COVID-19 health mandates. SESA serves some of the most vulnerable children in the state of Alaska and EBO has been honored to provide support to this incredible nonprofit organization.
Participatory Guidance & Thorough Research
A successful SESA team member must be adaptable, calm under pressure, and highly organized. EBO worked closely with SESA to develop and conduct a participatory training program for the position of Executive Assistant. Additionally, we thoroughly researched the existing health mandates related to COVID-19 to ensure SESA’s Return to Work plan was as accurate as possible.
Outcomes That Matter
Our comprehensive operational expertise and interactive training style proved highly beneficial for SESA’s new Executive Assistant. This individual transitioned into their role seamlessly. EBO’s emphasis on Executive team collaboration continues to support a long-term working relationship for the Executive Director and Executive Assistant at SESA. The provision of thoroughly researched and prepared reopening materials enabled the SESA team to return to work safely in August 2020 (during the COVID-19 outbreak).
